About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional & outstanding Principal level Management Consultant to support building the CMG brand in the United States, continuing our growth plans for CMG as a recognised consulting practice with a sector focus on the Consumer, Retail & Hospitality industries. You will play a pivotal role in helping to scale our US Practice while delivering exceptional outcomes for clients. Your responsibilities will span strategic leadership, client delivery, business development, and team building. Your primary focus will be to build CMG’s presence in the US market leveraging your existing business contacts, skills, capabilities and thought leadership to generate new business and build & maintain long-term strategic client relationships. An expert in change management, programme delivery and digital transformation you will lead on the end-to-end design and delivery of change and ERP technology transformation consulting projects, working with key retail & consumer clients to advise, define and execute on their Technology Strategy. Responsibilities
- Proven successful experience in a consulting environment (Ideally Big 4) with at least 10 years’ experience managing multi-disciplined, multi-cultural teams of Management Consultants in the Retail and Consumer sectors.
- Serve as the primary advisor to senior client stakeholders, delivering exceptional service and building long-term partnerships.
- You will be an outstanding expert in the retail and consumer sectors, with experience leading on large complex transformation and change programmes.
- Proven experience working with clients on implementing Technology ERP solutions E.g. Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, across Retail, supply chain / Logistics, Finance, E-commerce, planning and inventory management.
- You will lead and be actively involved in business development activities to help identify, propose and close customer transformation opportunities.
- Clear evidence of building & maintaining strategic board-level stakeholder (FT100 or S&P500), MD, CEO, CFO, COO, CIO/CTO type relationships on long-term basis.
- Clear evidence of developing & successfully leading Strategic engagements.
- Experience of building sustainable senior client relationships and be recognized and respected by clients and colleagues as a knowledgeable, valued and trusted professional.
- You have experience of interpreting clients' strategic, operational and external drivers for change, gaining respect, building trust and inspiring clients by anticipating their needs and exceeding expectations.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, and you are proactive and enthusiastic about delivering value to clients. You are a leader, passionate team player, and enjoy socializing with clients and colleagues.
- Adept at developing thought-leadership and contributing to our ongoing development of vision, strategy, products & services.
- Evidence of staying ahead of market trends and industry challenges to shape innovative service offerings.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication & presentation skills: Must be able to present to an executive corporate board-level audience (CEO, MD, CFO, COO, CTO/CIO etc.) with integrity, credibility and gravitas.
- Must have excellent experience in developing Management Consultants (mentoring, coaching, and management).
- Must be degree qualified with BA/BSc, M.B.A, or PhD from a prominent University or Business School.
