Role Objective
We’re seeking an Impact Program Manager to lead the expansion of our workforce development model in Charlotte . You will oversee impact operations ensuring that individuals experiencing homelessness or barriers to work can transition into stable employment and independence.
This role offers a unique opportunity to build relationships, support trainee journeys, and drive meaningful change on a regional scale.
Responsibilities
Partnership Development
- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, including charities and local government agencies, to source trainees.
- Advocate for the Change Please mission and cultivate a network of employers committed to hiring program graduates.
Trainee Recruitment and Support
- Evaluate and recruit suitable trainees through collaboration with referral partners.
- Coordinate and deliver essential workshops, such as job readiness, barista training, and professional communication skills.
- Provide individualized support to trainees facing challenges, leveraging external resources as needed.
Program Delivery
- Lead the onboarding and training journey for trainees, from intensive 2–4 week sessions to a 6-month program timeline.
- Collaborate with trainers, volunteers, and team members to ensure the successful delivery of program components.
- Monitor trainee progress and troubleshoot barriers to success.
Employment and Retention
- Identify and secure job placements, internships, or paid work experiences for program graduates.
- Partner with employers to support trainee retention through education and resources.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 annually for full time role.
