Position Overview: As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a pivotal role in providing personalized care, support, and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include promoting independence, assisting with daily living activities, fostering social interactions, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and objectives.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes socialization and community engagement.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals in challenging situations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records as required.

Sunday (Cape Coral)
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday (North Fort Myers)
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (Naples)
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Saturday (Venice)
- Hours: To be Determined.
Monday – Sunday (Cape Coral)
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Friday and Saturday (Cape Coral)
- Hours: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (overnight)
Saturday and Sunday (Cape Coral)
- Hours: 8:30 PM – 6:00 AM (overnight)
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Fort Myers)
- Hours: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (overnight)
Thursday, Friday, Saturday (Fort Myers)
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus).
- Previous experience in caregiving, direct support, or related roles preferred.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Train.org Certificates (APD Approved Mandatory) : Direct Core Competencies, Zero Tolerance, HIPAA, All Wavier Providers, HIV & HIPPA
