BIG PICTURE:
We are looking for a freelance Creative Ideas Associate to help write short, motivational video ideas at Changing Lives Productions. This person is someone who can help to come up with ideas, write dialogue, create characters and develop storylines that teach important lessons for all demographics. This individual will be able to write in a very niche style that follows a certain formula which has enabled us to garner billions of views within a short time period. Each video is around 15-30 minutes of length, involves 10-20 actors, in-house studio sets and is intended for social media platforms primarily YouTube and Facebook. Our Creative Ideas Associate should be very open to feedback as they may be asked to rewrite or make various versions of the scripts they are working on.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
- Develop ideas that are relatable and teach valuable lessons to our community
- Collaborate with the production team to make sure scripts have a strong moral, resonate with our target audience , have minimal production complexities and stay within budget parameters
- Analyze the performance of videos and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve scripts
- Come up with 5-10 new pitches a week
- This position is 5 days a week in the Burbank Office
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- A minimum of 2 years experience with screenwriting short script ideas/outlines
- Ability to write for all audiences, including younger age range
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong writing talent, as well as creativity, patience, self-motivation, and an understanding of the filmmaking process
- Possess the ability to work and collaborate with others

You will report directly to the Showrunner

We believe in transparency and fairness when it comes to compensation. The weekly freelance rate for this position is between $1400/wk - $1550/wk based on experience and qualifications.
Salary : $1,400 - $1,500
