What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Changing Lives Staffing?
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine the location of requested items in the warehouse.
- Change over pallets for picking, visually inspect items for damage or flaws.
- Document and report damages to supervisors or leads.
- Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping
- Alert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problem.
- Help clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift.
- Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap material.
- Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Must be able to learn and operate a variety of machinery.
- Able to accurately pick and ship orders as precisely as possible.
- Maintain a clean environment daily.
- Log into MRP system to input information.
- Receives inventory and store products in designated areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired but not required:
AutoCad and/or SoldWorks experience
