Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fertilizer Applicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying various treatments to landscapes, lawns, and agricultural areas to ensure optimal health and appearance. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of pest control and lawn care practices. The Applicator will work closely with clients to provide excellent service while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Duties
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers according to established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections of treated areas to assess effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on pest control, lawn care, and landscape maintenance to clients.
- Maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and materials to job sites.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience with Zspray or similar machines. Will train the right person.
- Knowledge of pest control methods and lawn care practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and sales opportunities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various outdoor environments.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving company vehicles.
- Previous experience in landscaping or agricultural settings is preferred but not mandatory.
