We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our TAG (Technical Applications Group) team, which will focus on managing customer specifications, addressing customer concerns or complaints, and organizing/presenting data. This individual will play a key role in interacting with customers, ensuring that product specifications meet both customer and internal standards. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize product specifications and manage customer relationships to meet business goals. The position focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer specifications and demands.
Key Responsibilities:
· Customer Specifications: Collaborate with customers to understand their ingredient and product specifications, and work to align them with our internal production capabilities. Assist in developing and adjusting processes to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
· Data Organization & Presentation: Strong ability to organize, analyze, and present testing data from lab testing to support the formulation of product specifications. Ensure that data is accurate, comprehensive, and easily accessible for both internal teams and customers.
· Customer Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for customers, showcasing our products, sending samples, and discussing any technical specifications or testing information. Be proactive in addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with our product offerings. Handle customer complaints on products shipped to them. Address any issues related to product quality, working cross-functionally to resolve problems and communicating effectively with customers and internal teams.
· Collaboration with R&D: Work closely with customer R&D teams and support with testing and product development. Provide data and insights that contribute to the development of new products or adjustments to existing ones.
· Specification Comparisons: Compare internal product specifications with those of current and potential customers, ensuring alignment and addressing any gaps or discrepancies.
· Product Integrity: Conduct detailed research and data analysis of the various fish species used in our products, taking into account seasonal variations. Use this data to demonstrate the superior quality and integrity of our products. Highlight the added value through customer-facing communications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or related professional experience required.
· Strong understanding of pet food ingredient manufacturing processes and specifications.
· Ability to manage large volumes of data, analyze results, and derive actionable insights.
· Familiarity with testing procedures and lab data interpretation in a manufacturing context.
· Excellent communication skills to interact with both internal teams and external customers.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in comparing and managing specifications.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
