What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at Channel Personnel Services?

The plant itself was recently built (6 years old), produces specialty chemicals, is PSM regulated and is in the middle of a plant expansion project. This person would be one of three dedicated process engineers working on a newly created process that utilizes a highly automated DCS control system. With opportunities to wear several different hats, some of the responsibilities of this role include process optimization using six-sigma techniques, assisting with unit start-ups and shutdowns, working with outside contractors, cost reduction, designing plant trials, upgrading plant equipment, and ensuring plant equipment complies with PSM and EHS standards. The parent company is a multi-billion-dollar international firm and a leader within the chemical industry. Relocation assistance is provided.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALICATIONS
v B.S. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree
v 1 -15 years of experience out of any PSM regulated chemical plant.
v Experience with as many of the following is ideal.
