This position is with a top-tier global chemical company with a history of stability and fostering professional growth. The primary objective of the Reliability Engineer is to support the maintenance and reliability of equipment in the chemical plant operating environment. Identify plant equipment issues by performing root cause analysis and developing and implementing solutions.
This role will have a 20% bonus target and work a 9/80 work schedule. Combined retirement contribution of up to 9%. Relocation assistance is available.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Develop short-term engineering solutions for rotating and fixed equipment to improve the life cycle and equipment reliability.
Ø Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Reliability Performance Indicators.
Ø Lead Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and other Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) efforts.
Ø Lead reliability programs and work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to prioritize and schedule work.
Ø Serve on teams and committees on assigned projects.
Ø Support the implementation of reliability efforts, mechanical integrity, PSM, and Safety Audit Action Items.
Ø Champion the Preventive and predictive (PM/PdM) Maintenance of plant equipment.
Ø Maintain and publish monthly equipment KPI reports.
Ø Investigate downtime/failures, assist in the identification of root causes, and development and implementation of technical solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
v 3 Years of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in the chemical industry.
v Working knowledge of equipment design, function, regulatory requirements, and PSM – Mechanical Integrity
v Understanding of welding principles
v Failure analysis training FMEA or RCFA
v Working knowledge of both fixed and rotating equipment
v Maintenance and Reliability strategies
Salary : $95,000 - $120,000
