What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Management Lead position at Channel Personnel Services?
Ø Oversee RMS: Oversee the day-to-day management of the operational management system and ensure it aligns with the company’s business goals.
Ø System Improvements: Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of the RMS.
Ø Coordination with Departments: Coordinate with various departments to ensure integration and alignment of procedures, objectives, and initiatives with the RMS.
Ø Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. This includes maintaining safety and environmental standards within the operation.
Ø Training & Development: Conduct necessary training and provide support to staff on RMS use and optimization.
Ø Reporting & Documentation: Regularly review and report on RMS performance, including documentation of system activities, safety incidents, and system improvements.
Ø Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies. This will include oversight for the planning and execution of internal audits, coordinating external audits and driving behaviors that lead to effective corrective actions.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
v Minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery/chemical operations or a related industrial setting.
v Prior experience with operational management systems in a refinery/chemical plant or similar environment.
v Proven experience in project management and leading teams.
v Excellent knowledge of industry HSSE standards and regulations.
v Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
v Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
v Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
v Preferred Skills:
§ Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
§ Professional certification in project management or process improvement methodologies (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma).
§ Experience in optimizing management systems because of divestments and acquisitions.
