Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share in the marine, construction, and mining industries in Texas.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and pipeline management.
- Build and maintain relationships with engineers, procurement leads, and project managers to establish trust and drive sales.
Client Management
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide tailored solutions that align with client needs and operational challenges.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify opportunities and risks.
- Share market insights with internal teams to support product development and strategic planning.
Sales Reporting
- Track and report on sales performance, ensuring alignment with company targets.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and key metrics to support business decision-making.
Skills:
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, manage pipelines, and close deals.
- Experience identifying new business opportunities and expanding market presence.
- Understanding of filtration solutions or ability to learn technical product details quickly.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Skilled in negotiating contracts and influencing purchasing decisions.
- Ability to analyze industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication with clients and internal teams.
- Capable of assessing client challenges and delivering tailored solutions.
- Results-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficiency in tracking sales performance, forecasting, and using Microsoft Excel.
Experience and Qualifications
- 3 years in B2B sales, preferably in industrial, construction, marine, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical product information.
- Familiarity with filtration, heavy equipment, or industrial supply sales is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
