What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analytics Engineer position at Channel | Your Partner in Funding?
Channel is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our Risk, Analytics, and Data Strategy (RADS) team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of clean, accurate, and validated data to support the analytics teams. This role requires close collaboration with the data engineering team to understand the structure and content of data within the data warehouse. The Analytics Engineer will also work with both the analytics team and business stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable views, driving value through their combined knowledge of the data and business use cases. This person will work from our Minnetonka, MN office with the expectation of being onsite the majority of the time.
Key Tasks
- Transform, validate, and document data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Act as liaison between the data and analytics teams by creating report-ready views from the data warehouse that support the needs of data scientists.
- Maintain current reporting while facilitating the transition and ownership of additional reports.
- Transition automated processes from remote server to cloud-based environment and serve as the point of contact for future automation efforts.
- Establish controls and monitoring to ensure reporting, views, and processes run dependably, and alert stakeholders when issues arise.
