Channel is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to step into the role of Vice President of Funding. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by driving growth and operational excellence within our organization. As VP of Funding, you will oversee all aspects of funding operations, managing both the Enterprise and Entrepreneur business regions and their respective leaders. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping strategies that optimize our funding processes, ensure efficient capital deployment, and foster strong relationships with internal and external partners.


What You'll Do:

  • Develop Strategic Initiatives: Shape and implement plans to enhance funding operations, ensuring alignment with growth targets and risk management frameworks.
  • Enhance Systems and Processes: Identify inefficiencies and work with cross-functional teams, including IT, to drive process improvements and technology upgrades.
  • Lead Funding Operations: Manage all funding transactions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
  • Drive Risk Management: Monitor market trends, enforce compliance standards, and implement strategies to mitigate funding-related risks.
  • Analyze Performance Metrics: Review key performance indicators (KPIs) and funding data to identify insights and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and Mentor the Team: Inspire and guide the funding team, cultivating a high-performing, collaborative environment.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across sales, credit, operations, legal, and technology to streamline processes and address challenges effectively.
  • Stay Ahead of Market Trends: Monitor developments in the equipment finance and working capital sectors to inform innovative strategies and maintain a competitive edge.


Skills & Specifications

  • Strong understanding of commercial lending, with a proven track record of success in funding operations and relationship management
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive initiatives from conception to execution
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an understanding of business modeling and analytics
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing the equipment finance and working capital industries
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas and information effectively at any level


Education & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in equipment finance, commercial lending, or related financial services
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Salary : $95,000 - $135,000
