Channell also has an aviation entity which owns a Dassault Falcon 7X and operates it under Part 91.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Flight Attendant role involves ensuring safety, comfort, and exceptional, professional service while maintaining strict confidentiality, discretion and professionalism. Ensure the safety of our guests while they board, off-board and are onboard Channells Falcon 7X aircraft or any chartered aircraft, by being physically and psychologically capable of performing safety procedures and assisting guests and crew in the event of an emergency. Flight Attendants work in a fast-paced environment; they must be able to handle emergency situations and effectively deal with all types of personalities in an attentive, professional and pleasant manner.
Secondarily, flight attendants provide all passengers with a consistent and high level of customer service during flights, which includes preparing and providing food and beverage service, keeping the galley clean and neat, etc. while providing unsurpassed, high-level service.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute all preflight activities to ensure the proper maintenance status of the emergency equipment
- Ensure orderly configuration and cleanliness of the cabin, lavatories and baggage area
- Full stocking of the aircraft for every trip
- Executes menu planning and works with caterers around the world for each required leg in advisory of passenger requests
- Educates passengers and supports the familiarization of the use and location of onboard emergency equipment
- Ensures the safety, welfare, and comfort of passengers and fellow crew members
- Ensures that all necessary provisions are onboard reflective of each trips requirements
- Oversees and protects the integrity of the overall asset. Submits squawks to maintenance and schedules deeper cleanings and provisions as necessary
- Maintains a working knowledge of all passenger preferences, allergies and dietary restrictions
- Maintains and oversees stock supplies in the caged stock-room
- Executes proper cleaning and laundering of all cabin linens, service ware and bedding
- Closely manages flight attendant contractors and any inflight supplemental coverage
- Maintains proficiency and currency as a Part 91 qualified crewmember.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience required, fine dining & culinary meal planning experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must dress and present professionally in consistency with company etiquette and trip purpose
- Willingness to work irregular and long hours according to flight schedules
- Certified to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and in the usage of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
- Proficient with all aircraft emergency equipment and knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Knowledgeable with safe food handling procedures.
- Ability to operate entertainment systems and equipment on board the aircraft as well as perform basic operational aircraft needs
- Ability to operate as a flight crewmember internationally without restriction
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
The physical demands and working conditions requirement indicated below are examples of the demands that must be performed in carrying out the essential job functions.
Physical Demands: Sitting, standing and walking (up to continuously); frequent use aircraft cabin safety equipment, food and beverage items and passenger luggage; frequently carry supplies and other miscellaneous items up to 50 pounds. Continuous use of seeing, hearing and verbal communication.
Working Conditions: Working in indoor and outdoor environments; frequent exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
