Position Information:
The Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for innovation and global market launches for the company. The candidate must be an individual experienced in project management and with sufficient subject matter expertise to be able to provide meaningful solutions that are functional and sustainable. This position will oversee the timeline for product innovation/ launch projects to ensure on time and in full while considering the special requirements per global business market.
Position Responsibilities:
- Development of an innovation and market specific project plan
- Oversee all entries into new markets from concept to completion
- Lead or participate in working groups, workshops and with stakeholders to understand business requirements, define project plans and manage timelines
- Partner with Marketing and Global Commercial teams to build new launch timelines based on desired on counter dates in alignment
- The Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for innovation, relaunch and global market launches for the company.
- Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Global and Local marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, & Commercial teams.
- Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders
- Engage senior stakeholders continuously by escalating and resolving issues as they arise
- Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- A solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performance
- Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectives
- Experience in supporting Regulatory Affairs related projects
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in procurement, or business management preferred
- Prior experience with a beauty or luxury brand is preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of Project Management experience, PMO certification a plus
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders and vendors
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft messages by reading the audience and adjusting the messaging.
- Detail oriented with strong organization skills
- Advanced experience in Excel & SAP a must
- Able to work independently and self-motivated
- Positive and open-minded team player
- Ability to work in matrix environment with many stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities to achieve results and meet milestones with a “hands-on” approach
Salary : $105,000 - $115,000
