What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian/Janitor position at Chanute Roxy 4 Cinema?
Chanute Roxy Cinema 4 is seeking custodians to join our team! The theater custodian is responsible for delivering a first-class moviegoing experience by ensuring the theater is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable.
Schedule:
Work is performed after regular hours on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but timing can be flexible so long as the cleaning is complete by 9:00am the following morning.
Responsibilities:
- Work between 8 and 12 hours each week, with flexible start and end times
- Work is performed after regular hours (after 9pm and/or before 9am the following morning) Thursday through Sunday
- Ensure that all duties are executed with accuracy and consistency
- Operate floor cleaning equipment, including carpet scrubber and vacuum
- Sweep and mop floors
- Occasional deep cleaning inside theater auditoriums during slower periods
Basic Qualifications
- Be at least 16 years old
- Strong work ethic and dependability
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, particularly on weekends, evenings, and holidays when applicable
Bonus Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience in a similar role
