Description
Welders are responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components used in marine vessels. They work primarily with aluminum, stainless steel, and other marine-grade metals to construct and reinforce boats, ships, and marine structures.
Qualifications
- Perform electrical and gas welding.
- Perform helic ark and tig welding.
- Band saw and tool usage.
- Perform fabrication from drawing and repairs.
- Do record keeping.
- Build and order a list of materials.
- Perform general plant maintenance.
- Operate and perform maintenance on for lift.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Safety and attendance conscious.
