What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electric Heat Trace Installer position at Chaparral Company?
- Assemble, install, and maintain electric heat trace systems.
- Perform electrical calculations to support system installations.
- Read and interpret construction drawings to guide installations effectively.
- Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and assist with the repair of equipment and electrical faults.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate closely with the Chaparral Insulation Supervisor for installation coordination.
- Document all work performed and provide progress updates to associated parties.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Work outdoors in various environmental conditions, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
- Bi-Lingual required (English/Spanish).
- Basic Electrical Knowledge Required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
- Strong communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience using handheld electrical meters, hand tools, and power tools effectively and safely
