Job Description
Head Lifeguard: Chapel Hill Tennis Club - Carboro, NC
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open and close the pool and performs all associated duties
- Oversee lifeguard staff during shifts
- Supervise and delegate other members of the work staff
- Maintain a safe and hazard free work environment
- Responsible for interacting with members and guests and providing excellent customer service
- Answer the phone and deal with public.
- Provide information and answer questions concerning membership & various programs
- Keeps the pool area clean and orderly
- Check and maintain pool chemicals
Required Skills:
- American Red Cross lifeguarding certification up to date.
- American Red Cross CPR / First Aid up to date.
- At least two years of lifeguard working experience.
- Exemplary customer service skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work scheduled hours reliably and consistently
