Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Podiatry Office Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the podiatrist, providing exceptional customer service, and helping maintain an organized, efficient office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out procedures.
- Schedule patient appointments and confirm upcoming visits.
- Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical history and vital signs.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment.
- Handle patient inquiries, both in-person and over the phone.
- Assist the podiatrist during examinations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical charts.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the office.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to podiatry, is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Certification in medical assisting or similar training is preferred, but not required.
