PURPOSE
The purpose of the Missions Coordinator is to build short-term mission teams for long-term impact, both on the field and in the lives of team members, as transformed followers of Jesus. The Missions Coordinator is responsible for challenging, equipping, and sending out both Chapel Pointe individuals and teams to engage in making disciples of all nations, locally, nationally, and internationally. The Missions Coordinator will work alongside Chapel Pointe partners around the world to identify needs, recruit and train team leaders, and mobilize teams for Kingdom expansion.
Accountable to: Pastor of Missions and Mobilization
Job Responsibilities
- Manage logistics in various stages of completion for 10-15 trips per year, utilizing Managed Missions, Planning Center Online, and Google Suite
- Identify and equip leaders to lead mission trips
- Create trip registrations, review applications, and finalize teams
- Invite, connect with and disciple individuals on their missional journey
- Create and maintain trip budgets, book flights, and work with missionaries on the ground to determine on the ground costs and itineraries
- Journey with teams through trip promotion, preparation, participation, and processing next steps for living on mission
- Maintain an organized collection of resources for teams
- Work closely with the Missions & Mobilization team and collaborate with Chapel Pointe ministries to increase missional momentum

Qualifications
- 3-5 Years experience leading teams
- Mid to Long-Term experience on the ground overseas (Preferred)
- Experience in missions/cross-cultural engagement
- Passion for seeing the Great Commission lived out locally and globally
- Shepherding, teaching, and administrative giftings
- Heart for helping people take next steps in their journey of transformation
- Personal rhythms of missional engagement in community
