PURPOSE
The part-time Production Assistant will serve Chapel Pointe’s Gym, Byron Center, Holt and future sites, providing general production support. This role focuses on creating and implementing ProPresenter and lighting setups weekly, developing and supporting volunteer teams, and ensuring seamless weekly production set up across all these sites. The coordinator will exemplify servant leadership and continually point others to Jesus in all areas of their work.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and program ProPresenter slides and lighting designs for services at sites.
- Set up and test production equipment ahead of Sunday services.
- Serve at sites on Sunday to ensure high-quality production.
- Address technical issues and provide live production support as needed.
- Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers to serve in production roles at sites.
- Build strong relationships with volunteers, fostering a culture of encouragement and growth.
- Regularly inspect and maintain production equipment, coordinating repairs or replacements when necessary.
- Work closely with the central service team to align with Chapel Pointe’s vision and standards.
- Support multi-site coordination efforts and events as required.
- Support our Students ministry production on Sunday nights.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficiency in ProPresenter and lighting systems (programming and troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with lightkey and DMX/MIDI programming.
- Basic troubleshooting for ProPresenter, projectors, and other AV systems.
- Basic understanding of live sound, video, and projection systems.
- Experience working in a church production environment, ideally in a multi-site setting.
- Effective communication skills, able to train volunteers of varying experience levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance responsibilities across sites.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex audio-related issues under pressure.
