Brief description
The position of group person consists of general labor performance on the ground.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist crew members with equipment preparation before, during and after the performance of the tree care operations
- Set up of the jobsite safely
- Assist with roping and rigging
- Maintain, prepare, and operate all applicable tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, blowers, chippers, and aerial lifts in a safely manner
- Assist with chipping, cutting, stocking, raking and blowing debris.
- Help to clean the jobsite from debris and materials
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all the times while performing the job
Qualifications and requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent;
- Good communications skills
- Punctuality
- Ability to perform strenuous manual work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to give full attention and help others
