JOB DESCRIPTION
The Licensed Vocational Nurse, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse is responsible for identifying the needs of each patient and assisting in the planning and the delivering of patient care to meet those needs. They collect data, participates in planning, executes interventions in accordance with the care plan or treatment plan, and contributes to the evaluation of individualized interventions related to the care plan or treatment plan. The Licensed Vocational Nurse, after appropriate educational preparation, is capable of expanded scope of practice in intravenous therapy.
Requirements:
- Minimum Experience: One (1) year clinical preferred
- Required License/ Certifications: Current California LVN License, IV Certifications, BLS; MAB certification (90 days upon hire),
