Role: Electrical Manager
Compensation:
- Base pay: $100,000-$120,000 quarterly bonus potential
- Full-time: Monday-Friday, rotating weekends

About the Role:
The Electrical Manager will lead a team of skilled electricians, ensuring top-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. The Electrical Manager oversees electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential and light commercial projects while leading the team to continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving the Business:
- Oversee, coordinate, and manage all jobs requiring electricians from start to finish.
- Set pricing for electric services offered and used by electricians in the field.
- Manage the financial side of the electrical business, from revenue to gross profit; responsible for generating revenue and controlling direct costs to maintain a set budget.
- Respond to service and construction leads by estimating jobs, presenting sales quotes to customers, and following through to close electrical business sales.
- Lead in the search and development of new customers for any of their home or light commercial electrical needs.
People-Focused Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of up to 10 field electricians, including schedules, performance reviews, engagement, hiring, terminations, safety, and efficiency.
- Provide technical expertise, training, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate with other department managers to drive business success.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Maintain a consistent, professional demeanor with all external and internal customers, coworkers, employees, and subcontractors.
Technical Expertise:
- Utilize knowledge of state and local electrical codes/NEC and principles to ensure projects are completed safely and in compliance.
- Apply expert knowledge of light commercial and residential equipment, components, wiring, installation, and maintenance.
- Utilize strong knowledge of building codes and inspection requirements to ensure projects meet regulations and pass inspection.
Required Experience:
- Valid Electrical Master License in the state of Indiana, with the ability to maintain a valid license.
- 10 years of residential/light commercial electrician experience.
- 4 years of proven experience in electrical management or a leadership role.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Proven knowledge of residential and light commercial electrical systems.
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years experience with Profit and Loss responsibility, including revenue, costs, and budget management.
