What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at Chapman Marine Inc.?
Responsible for management and execution of all company operations; understand all operations one week out ensuring proper coordination and execution of work; daily lineout of crews and employees, coordinate with customers on all aspects of work.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Maintain all Dive Supervisor requirements and perform duties as Dive Supervisor as necessary
· Plan work one week out including scheduling on T-sheets
· Answer the office phone
· Daily job lineout: Conduct through job briefings to crews, ensure proper load out for job, conduct customer coordination, parts requisition, LOTO coordination, etc… then receive crew members back brief on plan
· Conduct ROV inspections and maintain ROV readiness
· Write job completion reports
· Bring solutions to problems; Responsible for solving urgent requirements
· Delegate responsibility to ensure tasks are completed
· Company Safety officer
o Ensure adherence to company policies, ensure employees & equipment have current certifications
o Complete dive safety plan for every operation in coordination with operations
o Track and maintain all diver qualifications; Schedule training, certifications, physicals, etc…
o Ensure proper submission and filing of job logs, dive logs and JSAs from dive supervisors
o Attend safety meetings: job site, ADCI, Diving Safety Working Group (DSWG)
· Ensure organization of shop and all equipment
· Ensure proper equipment recovery upon return from the week or end of job, equipment needs:
o Red tagged for repair as needed
o Cleaned and stowed
o Verified ready for next use on the job
· Ensure all routine and non-scheduled maintenance is conducted, tracked and updated in UpKeep, our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
o Dive equipment specific requirements
o General maintenance requirements
· Review payroll weekly for time sheet corrections: Ensure correct customer and correct clock in/out
· Assist with Bid compilation including attending pre-bid meetings
· Any purchase above $200 must have approval
· Other duties as required
Required
· Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, CMMS
· Must have valid driver license, valid car insurance
· Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
· Ability to work in all weather conditions; rain, sleet, storm, snow, heat, etc. and lift 50lbs repetitively
· Must have a current Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
Standard work hours and availability
· Work is conducted Monday- Friday, however, some weekend work may be required
· Christmas and New Years two weeks paid time off after 1 year of full time employment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
Schedule:

- Weekends as needed
