Position Summary Information
| Job Description Summary | The Leatherby Libraries are seeking to hire a Sciences Librarian who will participate in reference services, information literacy instruction, collection development, and liaison work in support of the Schmid College of Science and Technology, the Fowler School of Engineering, and the Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. This position will provide leadership and guidance within the Libraries and in partnership with faculty and other library subject specialists to integrate information resources, research methodologies, software tools, and data services in the Sciences and STEM fields. The ideal candidate for this position will stay current with emerging areas in librarianship, such as Scholarly Communications, Open Access, Open Educational Resources, Data Literacy, and University DEI initiatives. Based on the library's organizational needs, this individual may serve on library and university committees and work on special projects.
