The Associate Vice President of Marketing and Digital Strategy in Chapman’s Strategic Marketing and Communications (SMC) department oversees the area of strategic marketing (with particular focus on marketing strategy and analytics) as well as website/digital strategy for chapman.edu and related marketing landing pages. In collaboration with Chapman leadership and other stakeholders, this role has a significant impact and influence on the direction and outcome of paid strategies and tactics that are deployed to enhance brand image and program and vertical marketing.With respect to the web, this role oversees and manages the technical, content marketing and user experience of chapman.edu. The role partners with web and content developers and UI/UX and marketing experts to deliver engaging and effective online experiences for our key audiences that are tied to our marketing strategies and tactics. The position’s expertise in marketing technology and tools will help build seamless audience relationships across different channels. And with strong analytics capabilities, the role will translate data and research into experiences that meet key audience needs and delivers desired results.The role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications and sits on the SMC leadership team and leads a team of approximately a dozen professional staff.
