What are the responsibilities and job description for the Post-Award Research Grants Analyst position at chapman?
We have an exciting opening for a Post-Award Research Grants Analyst to serve as an extension of the Office of Research to an assigned portfolio of faculty in various departments. The selected applicant will work with principal investigators, faculty, and staff to coordinate post-award activities for grants and/or contracts.Assists with managing the award, activities including monitoring the budget and liaising with PIs and relevant department staff to resolve issues.Provides guidance on funding agency regulations, as well as Chapman University’s administrative and fiscal policies.Monitors and tracks subawards, facilitates hiring personnel and management of efforts, and assists with award closeout.Additionally, this position may work with Sponsored Projects Services (SPS) leadership and staff on SPS departmental projects and/or special assignments as needed.After the training period, this position will allow a partial remote schedule, to provide a great work-life balance!Experience in Research Administration is preferred but not required, as we offer comprehensive training.
