Chappell Engineering Associates, LLC, is an established multi-discipline consulting engineering firm located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. We are looking for a structural engineer with at least 6 years of structural design experience. Candidate must be a registered PE in Massachusetts (or able to obtain their PE within a year) and have MassDOT bridge design experience. Knowledge of structural bridge software (AASHTOWare, Bentley, STRAP, etc.) and AutoCAD Civil 3D along with Microsoft Office is required. In the role of Bridge Engineer, you will design bridges with prestressed concrete and steel beams. As part of the design process, you will perform structural calculations, geometric layout calculations, quantity calculations and estimates, and write specifications and review calculations by other engineers.
We are looking for a growth-oriented, motivated engineer. The qualified candidate will have excellent written and verbal communications skills and be able to work well with others of varying experience levels.
