What you’ll do:

The Resourcer & Onboarding Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of onboarding new employees to ensure they are fully prepared, compliant, and ready to deliver exceptional care. This role involves working closely with the recruitment team, ensuring all administrative processes are smooth, and providing a welcoming and efficient experience for all new employees.


Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding Coordination:

  • Oversee the full onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documents, background checks, and compliance requirements are completed before employees start.
  • Coordinate and schedule induction sessions, ensuring new starters receive a thorough introduction to the company, policies, and their roles.
  • Liaise with new starters to ensure they have a clear understanding of their start date, job responsibilities, and the training they will receive.
  • Organise and track all required compliance paperwork
  • Ensure new employees are set up on internal systems and are provided with any necessary equipment, uniforms, or tools before their first shift.

Resourcing and Recruitment Support:

  • Assist with the recruitment of healthcare professionals by shortlisting and screening applications
  • Support the recruitment team in filling urgent vacancies
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of candidates, keeping track of their progress through the recruitment and onboarding process

Training and Development

  • Coordinate initial and ongoing training for new starters, ensuring they are fully equipped to meet the needs of their roles.
  • Work closely with the training team to schedule relevant courses and certifications, ensuring all new starters are compliant with industry standards.
  • Ensure new staff have access to the resources and support they need to succeed in their role, including mentorship or shadowing opportunities where applicable

Employee Support and Engagement:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for new starters, answering any questions they may have about their role or the onboarding process
  • Provide guidance and support during the probation period, ensuring new employees feel integrated into the team and the organisation.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of the onboarding process, collecting feedback from new starters to continuously improve the experience.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate records of all onboarding activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Support the HR and compliance teams with any additional administrative tasks related to the recruitment and onboarding process.


Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a resourcing, recruitment, or onboarding role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with HR software, onboarding platforms, and scheduling tools.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a focus on delivering a positive experience for new employees
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
