Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes (Bartender only)
- Engage with guests to provide excellent service and create memorable experiences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including proper food handling and safety practices.
- Operate cash registers and process payments accurately.
- Upsell drink specials and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food offerings.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server or Bartender or in a similar role is preferred, especially in upscale dining settings.
- Knowledge of Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Culinary knowledge is a plus, particularly in relation to beverage pairings and menu offerings.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
- Strong upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities.
