Description:
- Oversee the implementation and evaluation of care plans to ensure the provision of comprehensive and person-centered care.
- Monitor residents' health conditions, medication administration, and coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain the highest quality of care.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to the healthcare team, ensuring their knowledge and skills align with current best practices and regulatory requirements to foster a positive work environment.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with residents, families, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing healthcare services within an assisted living community.
- Stay updated with industry trends, evidence-based practices, and regulatory changes to continuously improve the quality of care provided.
- Monitor resident satisfaction through surveys, feedback, and other means, and make necessary improvements to the resident experience program.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required in state of practice in Illinois and Arkansas, LPN Licensure is preferred.
- LPN or LVN licensure is required in state of practice in Texas and Kansas, Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is preferred in Texas and Kansas.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an RN or LPN in assisted living, skilled nursing, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living, skilled nursing, or a related field is preferred.
