Position Title:
K-12 Art and Graphic Design – Full Time
Position Overview:
Ellsworth Community School is seeking a dynamic and creative K-12 Art Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This is a full-time position that includes teaching K-12 visual arts along with high school-level Graphic Design & Printing Technology as part of our Career & Technical Education (CTE) program.
Qualifications (Required):
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- Endorsement in Visual Arts Education (LX, LQ, or LZ)
Preferred Qualifications (Ideal Candidate):
- Recent and relevant experience in Graphic Design and/or Printing Technology
- Ability to qualify for annual CTE authorization in Graphic Design & Printing Technology (Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, digital printing, vinyl cutting, laser engraving, screen printing, or related fields preferred)
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster creativity in students at all grade levels
Position Details:
- Full-time position for the 2025-2026 school year
- Instructional duties include:
- K-12 Visual Arts curriculum
- High School CTE Graphic Design & Printing Technology courses
- Participation in school and community activities, including displaying student artwork and promoting the graphics program, is encouraged
