Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to oversee and manage our social media accounts, engage with our community, and develop a content strategy that aligns with our brand’s voice across our different accounts. You will be responsible for crafting compelling content, scheduling posts and campaigns, and analyzing performance to enhance our brand’s visibility and engagement.The successful person for this role thrives both independently and collaboratively, has exceptional organization skills, and is passionate about pop culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead, develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement across our main pages (@CharacterMedia, @GetGoldenTV, @WatchChimeTV, @UnforgettableGala)
- Create and schedule high-quality, engaging content for all social media channels, including posts, stories, and video content that visually adheres to brand guidelines.
- Manage and monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure social media efforts align with release dates for Originals.
- Stay on top of trends, timely events, and cultural moments for social activations
- Attend and capture content at red carpet events, premieres, in-house productions and appropriate events.
- Create reports on social media performance and provide recommendations for future strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of professional experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and their respective best practices.
- Proficient video editing skills and graphic design skills preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and time-management.
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for visual content and design.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for social media trends and innovation with a focus on AAPI content.
