Senior Manager of Communications
Job Description:
- Manage complex communications issues impacting multiple audiences, working closely with cross-functional partners to ensure consistent and compelling communications.
- Refine and execute against an owned media plan with the goal of using our channels to strategically position Character.AI on a range of issue areas.
- Support near-term external comms needs including corporate announcements and consumer launches.
- Explore and develop new thought leadership opportunities for our executives and prepare them for interviews, conferences, keynotes, etc.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7 years of experience in communications roles.
- Experience as an on-the-record spokesperson.
- Strong understanding of the communications ecosystem and the importance of an integrated communications approach to storytelling.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to shape communications narratives and support public announcements.
- A passion for AI experiences, and the role emerging technologies play in our society.
