Fulfillment/Production Technician

Lead Production Associate position available (Full-Time)
Charcoal House is in the Pine Ridge area of Northwest Nebraska with forests and streams and known for its wide variety of outdoor activities: hiking, hunting, fishing, horseback trails, and wildlife viewing to name a few. We are nearby Fort Robinson State Park, perfect for young families and history buffs. Production and packaging associates work in our main office as well as our warehouse preparing and finalizing products before they are shipped. This includes cleaning various sized containers, which have been filled. Insuring labels are put on accurately and straight with or without a label machine. Shrink wrapping smaller containers. Attention to detail is key in this position. On the job training is available. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and be ambitious and hardworking. This position can easily advance into more opportunities. Salary starts at $31,000-$3500 a year.

This is a non-smoking, and perfume-free job site. Smoke and strong odors affect the products you will be working with and cannot be present on an individual at work.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 30 lbs.

• Must be able to bend, stoop and kneel, go up and down stairs/step ladders, and reach above your head.

• Basic math skills.

• Basic computers skills, Quick Books and Mac computer experience a plus.

• On time work history.

• Proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• Feed raw materials (activated charcoal) into production machinery.

• Maintain a clean work environment.

• Pack, label, and shrink wrap products to be shipped, stock shelves, and maintain inventory.

• Establish an effective and efficient work sequence.

• Forklift skills are a plus but not necessary.

Dress code requirements. Full time employees receive paid holidays and paid time off after 3 months employment. All employees receive 20% off Charcoal House products.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 7:25am-4:30pm and Friday 7:25pm-2:00pm. No nights, weekends, or holidays. Overtime pay.
