What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Controller position at Charcuterie Artisans?
Serves as a key manager engaged in all aspects of operations to provide timely and comprehensive financial leadership to drive the achievement of budgeted results. Works as an important member of both Finance & Accounting and Operations teams accountable for overall integrity, accuracy and completeness of company’s manufacturing and distribution budget, inventory control and accuracy, cost accounting and maintenance of standards, operational KPIs and metrics, cost savings initiatives and continuous improvement, planning, forecasting, and monthly reporting and analysis of actual results.
\n- Financial leadership to drive achievement of budgeted operational results.
- Drive cost savings initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Accurate and timely budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting and analysis.
- Balance sheet reconciliations including control over inventory subledgers and all capital accounts
- Capital expenditure analysis, reporting, and project approvals.
- Operational cost reviews and control over standards, variance to standards, and allocation to inventory.
- Drive operational KPIs and metrics to improve yields and operational efficiencies.
- Completion of internal and external audits.
- Monthly review of freight and logistics expense to manage costs and maintain proper accruals.
- Provide support to plant management with proactive communication of issues and recommendations.
- Provide guidance on key business decisions for effective and efficient operations.
- Weekly/monthly review of direct/indirect labor managing OT and efficient use of temporary workforce.
- Proven track record 7 years plant control and cost accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems, business intelligence software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience with SKU rationalization and constant review of cost allocations based on activities.
- Intellectual curiosity and a natural inclination to understand and resolve key operational challenges.
- High level of integrity, accountability, work ethic, and determination.
- Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently.

- B.S. / B.A. degree in Accounting.
- Preferably 7 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
Salary : $160,000 - $185,000
