Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 2 Years College preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with parents, staff, and administration

- Be self-motivated
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be highly organized
- Preferred experience with using current technology
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists the principal and the administrative team with maintaining records, including but not limited to, student records, personnel records, meeting information, calendars, etc.
- Maintains files of general records, data files, documents, correspondence, forms, reports, and other materials
- Medication Administration – Maintains documentation of all medications administered.
- Maintains a daily teacher attendance log and the concomitant records for substitute teachers.
- Maintains daily and monthly student attendance records
- Maintains a log of visitors to the school as well as a record of the students’ arrival and departure during the school day
- Answers phone calls and routes them to the proper person or department
- Answers questions regarding routine matters
- Performs routine clerical and office duties, including but not limited to typing, completing forms, permits, notices and form letters
- Manages telephone message system (office hours, inclement weather and other recorded messages)
- Assists school faculty and staff with requests, paperwork, correspondence, etc. as needed
- Operates copying machines, calculators, personal computers, facsimile machines and other office equipment
- Maintains, sorts and distributes mail for the school
- Assists personnel with the mailing and distribution of various documents and communication
- Supervises students who are waiting in the office to see administrative staff for various reasons
- Operates the intercom and call system and provides information via the school’s public address system
- Monitors and answers the door buzzer system at the main entrance
- Assists the public at the front desk as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal
- A fingerprint background check is required for employment and must be successfully cleared before starting work
Job:
8 hours/day; 40 hours/week;
215 days a year (August -June); Single Subscriber Insurance
