Tradeshow Events Manager (B2B)
The Tradeshow Events Manager, reporting to the CMO is responsible for executing a comprehensive tradeshow events strategy that aligns with Chargeback Gurus (CBG) business goals and enhances brand visibility. This role oversees logistical organizing, coordinating, planning and execution of all tradeshow events. Leads the entire pre/during/post event management planning, budget/expense control, execution and follow through initiatives. Works collaboratively across the marketing team to execute tradeshow communications as well as end of event analysis to determine and track ROI. This position works closely with different internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of tradeshow events that align with the organization's objectives, budget and meet the needs of participants and/or attendees.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Tradeshows/Conferences:
- Leads planning and execution of tradeshows CBG attends as well as regional and local events.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders/vendors to manage tradeshow objectives, themes, and target audience.
- Manages all pre, during and post-event marketing in conjunction with Director of Marketing & Director of Demand Generation.
- Coordinates all aspects of event planning including venue selection, shipping, booth management, catering, audio-visual, décor and all other logistical arrangements.
- Serves as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams, working with product marketing, sales, marketing, finance, etc. to ensure that each conference aligns with broader business goals.
- Prepares and reviews run of show with CBG tradeshow team members.
- Develops and manages event budgets, using data-driven insights to optimize spending and ensure each event achieves its business objectives.
- Conducts in-depth post-event analysis, synthesizing feedback, performance metrics, and insights to improve future events.
- Builds and maintains high-value relationships with external vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and coordinating logistics to maximize the quality and impact of each event.
- Ensures consistent branding and messaging follows corporate branding guidelines.
- Manages event/tradeshow staff, volunteers, and contractors to ensure tasks are performed effectively and efficiently.
- Ensures events are executed flawlessly, managing onsite logistics and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Required Skills:
- 5 Years of proven event planning, management, execution and coordination of high-profile events within B2B, preferably Fintech
- Demonstrated success with the oversight and execution of all event planning and execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing or Business Administration.
- Professional certifications in Event Planning, Project Management or related fields are a plus.
- Strong budget and financial management skills, able to maximize impact while minimizing costs.
- Ability to manage time and multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
- Strong organization skills and detailed orientation with the ability to keep deadlines and follow through on tasks.
- Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Teams, Monday, Lead Capture iCapture, and database management software such as Salesforce/Hubspot.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Travel required; onsite presence at each tradeshow is required.
