What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint is looking for an experienced Sr. Systems Engineer to help us maintain and manage our IT systems; support end-users’ machines and relevant documentation such as policies and procedures. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems, integration, and automation. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent technical and communication skills.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Implement and maintain ChargePoint MDMs, business applications, end users’ system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications
• Perform system integration, testing, and validation
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and user manuals
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company's systems remain cutting-edge
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
• Manage and integrate identity and access management solutions using Okta workflow
• Oversee device management and security using Kandji, Jumpcloud, and Intune
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Integrate various systems and applications to ensure seamless operation
• Engage in Incident Response, Audit, and Disaster Recovery practices
• Ensure the validity of downstream data from the HRIS system to Okta, and down to SSO based applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, applications, and system architecture
• Expert level experience in the MDMs, such as Kandji, Jumpcloud, Intune.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Identity & Access Management, and other protocols
• Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Knowledge of any HRIS systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
