Collision Center - Service Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our collision repair team. This position focuses primarily on suspension and steering system repairs, as well as the replacement and installation of airbags and other safety system components. This is not a diagnostic or engine repair role—we specialize in collision-related mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repairs related to vehicle collisions, including:

  • Suspension components (control arms, struts, shocks, etc.)

  • Steering systems (racks, tie rods, linkages)

  • Airbag system replacement and calibration

  • Radiator and condenser replacement

  • Cooling system components affected by collision

• Conduct thorough inspections to identify damage beyond visual assessment.

• Follow OEM procedures for repairs and safety system installations.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Communicate with estimators, body technicians, and management regarding repair needs and timelines.

• Use proper tools and equipment to ensure precision and safety.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of mechanical repair experience in an automotive or collision repair setting preferred.

• Familiarity with modern vehicle suspension, steering, and airbag systems.

• Ability to follow OEM repair procedures and shop SOPs.

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Frequent standing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
