Charisma Event Productions is a boutique audio visual events company with a warehouse in American Fork. We serve the corporate event industry providing full A/V for business conferences, summits, and parties. We run a very organized business and are passionate about providing white glove experiences to our clients and those who attend our events. A/V Technician responsibilities:
Producing spectacular events is the core of our business. Your talent, attention to detail, and ability to learn new skills will be vital.
- Experience leading teams and teaching others
- Be the lead technician for all of our events as an audio engineer, video engineer, lighting engineer, technical director, etc.
- Work every Charisma event including set up, the event, and strike
- Quickly help troubleshoot any problems that arise and assist with tough conversations to the client when errors have been made
- Set up and lead small gigs by yourself
- Lead our crew of freelancers in an organized and respectful manner
- Actively learn new skills that can benefit our customers
- Become an expert with all of our equipment
- Have fun on our shows so everyone enjoys working with our team!
- Drive our company vehicles
- Take on more responsibilities as the company grows
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks related to equipment checks, maintenance, and repair to ensure all equipment is ready for each gig
- Coordinate and lead loading and unloading of equipment at the warehouse, check in and organize company equipment, and assist in renting and returning equipment
- Pack vehicles with equipment in a space efficient, organized, and safe manner
- Lead warehouse organization and operations including shelving layouts, labeling equipment, and inventory software management.
People that tend to be a good fit for this role have a wealth of experience in live event audio visual working at a theater, as a freelancer, or as a full time technician, producer, or technical director for companies like WEBB, Cornerstone, P3, FatFish, Modern Display, etc.

Day to Day Expectations
- Work average of 40-60 hours a week depending on our event schedule
- Work in the warehouse most days of the week or on shows
- Ability to work long and tiring hours
- Flexible working hours
- Regularly commuting in your own vehicle to the warehouse in American Fork
- Create your own projects and to-do lists to help the company move forward in a faster and more efficient manner
- When problems are encountered, develop your own possible solution before talking to the team about it
