Job Description:We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Podcast Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage all aspects of podcast production, from concept development to final delivery. As a Podcast Producer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality podcast episodes that engage and grow our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

  • Oversee the entire production process, including recording, editing, and mixing audio.
  • Ensure that episodes are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Manage the technical aspects of podcast production, including sound design, audio mixing, and mastering,

Script Writing:

  • Write compelling scripts that align with the podcast's theme and goals.
  • Collaborate with hosts and guests to ensure scripts are engaging, accurate, and well-structured.
  • Adapt scripts based on feedback and ensure they are ready for recording.

Talent Booking:

  • Research and book relevant guests that align with the podcast’s theme and target audience.
  • Coordinate with guests to schedule recording sessions and handle any pre-interview preparations.
  • Ensure guests are briefed on the episode's content and expectations.

Training:

  • Train hosts and guests on best practices for recording, including microphone technique and delivery.
  • Provide guidance on how to improve on-air performance and ensure the podcast is delivered professionally.
  • Continuously coach team members on industry trends and production techniques.

Content Development:

  • Brainstorm and develop new ideas for podcast episodes and series.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and listener feedback to shape content strategies.
  • Work with the marketing team to promote episodes and engage with the podcast community.

Post-Production:

  • Edit raw audio files, removing unnecessary parts and ensuring a seamless flow.
  • Add music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the listening experience.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to create episode artwork and promotional materials.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a podcast producer or similar role in audio production. Proof of work required.
  • Strong scriptwriting skills with an ability to create engaging and informative content.
  • Proficiency in audio editing software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train and coach hosts and guests for optimal on-air performance.
  • Familiarity with booking talent and coordinating schedules.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience with social media and digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of podcast distribution platforms and analytics.
