This job position reports directly to the Divisional Controller
The Accounts Payable Specialist compiles and maintains accounts payable records.
Essential Job Functions :
As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you ll be playing a crucial role in managing and processing payments to vendors and suppliers on behalf of Charles E. Gillman Company, ensuring efficient and timely payment of bills.
Responsibilities :
- Enter invoice details into the accounting systems and allocate expenses to appropriate accounts or purchase orders
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and process payment batches, including checks, electronic transfers, and other payment methods
- Monitor payment deadlines and resolve any outstanding invoices or payment delays
- Assists other groups as needed
