We are currently seeking a few exceptional people who have a passion to create a meaningful impact in the lives of the amazing people we support.We have a great opportunity for a positive, motivated individual to work in a multi-disciplinary, mobile outpatient OMH program with a specialty in health and self-wellness activities and initiatives for ACT recipients.In this position, you will : Perform routine team duties. Responsible for integrating dual-recovery treatment with the tasks of other team members. Work with the recipient to provide integrated dual disorders treatment (IDDT). Conduct substance abuse assessment and substance abuse diagnosis. Promote principles and practices of harm reduction. Provide application of stage-wise treatment. Provide motivational interviewing strategies.Requirements : Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling Current NYS Social Work or Mental Health Counselor license or limited permit CASAC certification preferred Competency demonstrated by at least 1 year of training and / or experience in integrated mental health and substance abuse assessment and treatment, motivational interviewing techniques and stage-wise treatment Clean valid NYS driver’s license Ability to travel independently throughout Nassau and western Suffolk countiesWe look forward to talking with you!
