Social Work / Mental Health Counselor Supervisor - Outpatient Clinic
LCSW or LMHC required
Part-time 10 hours/week - Minimum 1 evenings/week required

CHARLES EVANS CENTER, INC. (CEC) is a leading not-for-profit, providing comprehensive medical, dental and mental health services. We provide care with excellence and compassion to historically underserved community members with limited incomes including those with autism, learning and developmental disabilities, chemical dependency and behavioral health concerns.
We are seeking an experienced part-time Therapist (LCSW or LMHC). In this highly visible role, your responsibilities will include supervising and training counseling staff (LMSW, LMHC, interns and permit holders) as well as providing individual psychotherapy and developing treatment plans for clients in outpatient clinic. This includes clinical supervision and paperwork review and approval.
Duties:
- Provide direct support and supervision to a team of social workers.
- Implement behavior management strategies.
- Utilize psychotherapy techniques to address mental health concerns.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
- Valid NY State LCSW, or LMHC licensure.
- Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques.
- Proficiency in psychotherapy approaches and interventions.
- Familiarity with outpatient clinic documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
