We have great opportunities for positive, motivated individuals to work in a FQHC outpatient clinic setting.
In this position, you will :
- Perform initial evaluations, treatment planning and follow up for patients referred for psychiatric services.
- Ensures that patients receive appropriate follow-up care and instructions
- Consults with family, professional, and service providers and patients as appropriate explaining all psychopharmacological and / or behavioral interventions as prescribed.
- Demonstrates willingness to be flexible in meeting the needs of the individual and the caretakers.
- Be on-call after hours to provide needed services.
- Reviews ancillary mental health services (e.g. psychotherapy, psychology) for appropriateness, utilization review and recertification.
