Charles Gabus Ford is seeking a Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk who has excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, is disciplined, and has good decision-making skills. Here’s What You’ll be Doing:
- Determines shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Examines contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or
- outgoing shipment.
- Prepares documents, such as bills of lading, and shipping orders.
- Corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
- Requisitions and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
- Assist in keeping parts area clean, and orderly.
- Restocking of inventory. Knowledge of bus and commercial transportation vehicles. Operate forklift, after required training and certification. Assist other parts counter staff.
- Parts Delivery.
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Participates in all training programs that are made available
- Keeps current on new products and product updates
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid Iowa Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Submit to a drug and background screening
- Be able to walk and be outside frequently
