Job Summary
The DesignIntern aims to evaluate and enhance the company's design processes as we implement Windchill system as the enterprise Product Data Management (PDM) tool.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Help identify the root cause of issues in the development process and resulting impact on manufacturing.
- Develop ideas for improvements in currently developed products.
- Develop standard library components and process.
- Develop training materials Engineers to use new standard library components.
- Perform design changes as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
- Good interpersonal skills required to work effectively with others.
- Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
- College undergraduate pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree, or other Mechanical Engineering Technology degree.
- Sheet meat fabrication/assembly experience desired.
- 3D CAD required, CREO desired.
- Data vault required, Windchill desired.
- Must have completed the first year of the undergraduate program.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
